Ive been going there for over 10 years, yes it lacks a bit of 'localness' but mostly the staff are friendly, the beer cold, and its great when games of footy are on. Food is ok, new chef recently. They do a good trivia on weds and meat raffle thursday...a new thing to bring in that 'local flavour'.

A good clean pub with great bar staff and a friendly mix of locals. Lots of TVs for Sport (get rid of the Keno! Please) + League, Rugby & AFL tipping comps.

Great place to hang out with friends. Staff are friendly. Food is yummy, but over priced. great place to watch live sports.

why would you want to go to a pub where the staff never smile and treat you like dirt. The pub staff only make you feel like it is an effort to serve you. Maybe the licencee should look at customer service instead of customer aggression from bar staff and managers!

No staff here are welcoming, they dont smile at all. There is no character with this pub, the one down the road is more friendlier...!

I am a a local so know this hotel well. Food average/not bad but not cheap for pub food. Tables in the bar area rarely cleaned so be prepared to ask for a cloth and do it yourself. I wouldn't agree that the staff are unfriendly but they appear stright out of service college and need to defer to the register to tell how much even the most basic/popular beverage is (they would do the same if you asked for the price of a glass of water). Most annoying (regularly) is the music and I think that is driven by the staff. As an example - the other evening, 15 guys / one woman only in the main bar and Beyonce blaring. No one was impressed and the staff couldn't care less. So generally a reasonable but pretty sterile venue.

I've been living in annandale for 20 years and i'll tell you that the music in the pub is mostly the radio but it doesn't matter because the pub focuses on sports events and has a great atmosphere. The bar staff are always friendly and want to listen to how your day was, not to mention that most of them are hot girls!! I've never met friendlier workers and i'll continue going to the pub til my last day

yep i'll agree with old mate local the bar staff at the north are the friendliest set of ladies ive ever come across, but the managers can be a bit grouchy
