River Kwai Restaurant - Small restaurant, nice atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices - can recommend.

After an absence of several months, I returned to give this restaurant another try. Ordered, among other things, Scallops with Chilli and Basil. The general flavour and vegetables were good but the scallops were inedible! They appeared to be stamped out of some kind of seafood extender, were so tough I couldn't cut them with a spoon or fork and tasted of nothing. I did bring this to the attention of the waitress who promised to 'let chef know' but we left the establishment about 15 mins later with no explanation, apology, or hint that anyone really cared. I will not be back as there are way too many other very good Thai restaurants in Canberra who care about my custom.
