Cafe Gaudi
Editorial
Named for the great Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, this West End Woden Cafe has been attracting shoppers, regulars and random ramblers for nearly four years now. Arguably one of the most popular cafes in the Woden area, there is an undeniable Spanish/ Mediterranean influence in both the food and the atmosphere, giving this light-filled cafe a serenity that belies its multitude of customers. Despite the fact that its namesake was famed for his twisted, colourful, surrealistic designs, this cafe’s decor leans more towards the subtle end of the scale, with low-key colours and urbane designs dominating inside and out.
Similarly, a Spanish-influenced menu features many Mod-Oz and international favourites, with dishes like paella and Spanish garlic prawns sitting happily alongside a whopping grilled burger or a Thai beef salad. This gives customers the freedom to mix and match, while still retaining an element of authenticity – a balance that has kept customers coming back for more. The cafe also serves a variety of beers, wines, fresh juices and Italian soft drinks, and prides itself on making some of the best coffee in town. So drop by and soak up the sunshine.

coffee and hot chocolates are great. Lovely staff except for the one rude young lass with the nose ring. Other then that other staff are quite lovely. Will dine again as food is also exceptional

I dont know what you are talking about Sarah, me and my husband are regulars at gaudi and i believe that 'the young lass' is not rude at all. Infact probably one of the nicer staff plus she makes an excellent cup of coffee
