this used to be a terrific cafe. unfortunately, the current crop of staff really aren't up to scratch. None knew what "herbal tea" was which was quite puzzling. But the real problem is that the blackboard and printed menus don't match up so meals contained unexpected suprises some of which were not appreciated by the diners. I'd give this one a miss for a while. Perhaps it's next incarnation will have greater focus on the small details that make such a big difference.

My friends and I have Also decided to give this one a miss for awhile. While the food is fresh and good the cafe is being compromised by it's service staff. Rather than driving people away through neglect, they tend to be aggressive, loud and patronizing. We're mostly annoyed at the way in which they loudly put down, mock and laugh at customers. Not cool at all - especially for honest regulars. Kudos to the hardworking kitchen staff. To the coffeemakers and lead guy - grow up.

Great service and the staff have also started catering my meetings - which have all gone well. The rolls are tasty and fresh and the the salads are interesting and tempting to eat. I enjoyed my coffee too.
