The sister act behind Dickson’s Two Sisters restaurant offers authentic Thai and an atmosphere perfect for a quiet night in or a boisterous night out.

Editorial

With almost as many Asian grocery stores as Asian restaurants in Dickson, it becomes rather tempting to give a homemade laksa or curry a shot. But even with all the right ingredients it always tastes better from the source. Better to let the professionals do it and at Two Sisters Lao Thai restaurant they do it well. Two Sisters is named after the Rhabandith sisters who operate the business and head up the kitchen. Their restaurant is a local staple for fresh, authentic Thai food, with a great ambience and friendly atmosphere. Here cheery locals abound meeting for a special meal or a night out and the place is usually packed by 8pm. If space and peace are your major concerns then it is probably advised to come earlier in the evening when couples fill up the window seats over candle-lit tables.

Peace of mind is easier to come by with affordable meals of great quality. Thai favourites including chicken satay skewers will set you on your way, while deliciously tender massamun beef or thick coconut curries are on offer for mains. The fragrant jasmine rice is recommended to accompany your meal, while pad Thai noodle dishes are zesty and flavoursome. The lunchtime specials are also an economical option.
