This place is an institution in Dickson and for good reason. While the décor is what we have all come to know and love about Vietnamese restaurants – palms, generic tables and chairs and kitschy ornaments – the food is in a class of its own. The campfire beef, the pepper fish in clay pot and the Hainanese chicken rice are all favourites. For something lighter try the beef salad – it’s deliciously fresh with the perfect balance of spices. Drinks-wise try the Vietnamese Three Colour Drink made with herbal jelly, red bean, green jelly strips, red jelly strips, ice and coconut milk.
