Unlike going out for Vietnamese, Japanese is not known for being the most inexpensive night out. And while Japanese restaurants are not simply relegated to the high class affairs they were in the 80s, it still can be hard to find cheap Japanese cafes. Enter Meiji. This sweet little café in Dickson has a loyal following of diners who appreciate the quality of food here at very low prices. For example, a plate of gyoza will set you back a few dollars and the tako yaki (deep fried octopus dumplings) are just $2.90. For under $8 dollars you can pick up a main meal too.
