Canberra is not a city known for its seafood – a fact not so evident after a visit to Cape Cod. Wonderful things have been happening here since 2006. For starters there is the quirky fit-out. Chandeliers and nautical themed wallpaper combined with wooden tables and chairs makes for a warm and friendly atmosphere. The emphasis is of course on seafood and depending on what’s in season, you could be feasting on mud crab to cuttlefish to a perfectly cooked barramundi. However, the real treat here is their fish and chips. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food. Excellent wine list.

it's still the same guy who was at chairman for around 10 years. fish was excellent when i went last month.

it has had some major changes with kitchen staff and management but seems to be on the up still the best fish and chips but not too keen on the comment from american guy about hes last conquest not neede!!!!!

Yes Cap Cod has a new owner, service was great and food even better, all Aust produce and all fresh, I have been dinning here for 3 years and this is as good as it gets! Cape Cod you have won me over! thanks and see you soon :)
