Taze
Editorial
Tazé is situated in the new development on Genge Street in Civic, one of many exciting new eateries in this up-and-coming area. Indeed, the location is an obvious selling point being just a hundred metres or so from the bus interchange, next door to several large government departments, and opposite Canberra Centre. A tempting and convenient choice for after work drinks, business lunches or a quick bite to eat before the movies, the restaurant is sleek with obvious thought given to the building design. A large dining area downstairs lays the foundation for the large group friendly mezzanine floor with plentiful outdoor seating.
The food is a varied mix of Mediterranean delights, with all items made fresh on site. Tapas and meze are specialties and make ideal as snacks to accompany drinks from the well-equipped bar, or a selection for a full meal. Highlights of the main menu include a large choice of meat and fish dishes and generous sides of rice and salad. Get a few friends together for the metre-long pide which is lighter and crispier than its smaller counterparts and definitely worth sampling. A variety of beers on tap and a large selection of wines offer a range of beverage choices. With an inviting atmosphere and dishes designed to be shared, Tazé is a great choice for your next Civic dining experience.
