Kremlin Bar
Editorial
The Russian theme runs rampant, with decadent red velvet curtains draped form floor to ceiling, plush brown ottomans, a dark granite bar and crystal chandeliers, you could imagine yourself on a date with Catherine the Great. Polished wooden floors lie beyond the great oaken doors, and deep purple walls are stamped with the might of the hammer and sickle everywhere you turn. It's pretty darned lush all round.
The luxurious surrounds and an older, stylish crowd practically demands cocktails - try the Kremlin Smash for a knock-out dose of champagne, Cointreau, strawberry liqueur, lemon juice and the obligatory vodka shot. Of course, there's a healthy range of imported vodka on offer, and it really would be seen as acting against your comrades if you didn't knock back at least a couple of thimbles-full. There's a decent enough beer and wine list if you're feeling less adventurous.
Happy hour cheers the masses until 7pm each night, with occasional live jazz bands and DJs at the weekend. The venue can be hired out for decadent, debauched private soirees Sunday through Tuesday. The Kremlin certainly brings exhilarating life to the Canberra scene.

Visited the kremlin last weekend - oh what a evil vodka selection :) and it was all chilled, which is hard to find in Canberra. Definately be back to explore more flavours soon.

I have just moved to Canberra and went to the Kremlin on the weekend. The place looks amazing and is so relaxing. It's nice to go somewhere i can relax and talk with my friends. I can see this bar will become one of my regulars.
