ANU Bar
Editorial
The ANU Bar is renowned for its rich live music history, having hosted some of the biggest names in music for over 30 years including, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, Black Eyed Peas, Korn, Public Enemy, Sneaky Sound System and grunge legends Nirvana. In the huge concert space holding up to 1,800 punters, you'll also find other genres such as metal, indie, folk, blues and dance music.
Outside there's a vibrant beer garden where you can catch up with the latest gossip. And you don't need to be strictly Gen-Y to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere; there seemed to be quite a few over-30s types in the crowd, and they didn't look out of place at all. Inside there's a plethora of pool tables to prove your worth to your paramour, or just show off in front of your mates.
Don't miss the hugely popular happy hours held between 4pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with great low prices on drinks that range from Coopers, Stella, VB, Guinness, Carlton Draught right through to a perfectly respectable cocktail and fine wine list. Food is basic bar food, standard pub fair, but enough to keep you going through the next shout.

You've got to be joking! Its a freaking great "sticky-floor-skank-bar", but it really REALLY isn't a garden bar.
