Alto Tower Restaurant

The recently renovated Alto restaurant overlooks Canberra from the Telstra Tower, with a revolving floor that does a full circuit in just under 90 minutes. Under new ownership, the restaurant has sought to shake its tourist-trap image and attempted to give the space back to Canberrans in the form of a contemporary fine-diner. The decor is modern - all crisp, clean lines, white linen and natural light.

We don't eat out much as my wife is a Chef and we seem to just pick holes in restaurants. I went on the recommendation of friends for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed, I had Pork which just melted in my mouth and my wife had Lamb Tagine we she described as Fabulous. The Service was excellent the Food to die for and the view well who doesn't want Canberra at their feet. Superb and thanks for a great evening.
