The Burrito Bar
5/167 Grey Street, Southbank
Alas good 'Mexican' food is pretty hard to come by in Brisbane, and newcomers to the scene The Burrito Bar aren’t really helping things. More of a fast food joint than an actual restaurant, that wouldn't be so bad if they delivered in flavour and service. Sadly both requirements are found to be lacking, with quite often flavourless fare being served up at ridiculously inflated prices by staff whose hearts just aren't in it. It really shouldn't be this hard to get right - true Mexican fare is a riot of flavours and textures served up with fresh ingredients that don’t cost the earth.
