It’s a delight to walk into a place that fills all the senses. 2042 looks great, smells wonderful and the food is superb too. Run by hospitality veterans, they pretty much get everything right. From the cosy, kitcheny feel where communal dining only adds to the homey aspect, to the high quality deli produce that’s in abundance, to the wholesome, gourmet dishes on offer there is much to like here. They cater for all diners, from breakfast to dinner to everything in between. There’s over 30 cheeses and a good selection of boutique wines too. A very civilised addition to Newtown.
