The Dome

333 Collins Street, Melbourne

-37.8165600 144.9630830

Built in the 180s, this lobby area of the Commonwealth Bank Building is open to the public and can hired for weddings, events and performances. The intimidating dome reflects a grandeur and wealth to reflect the time it was built. The mosaic floors and Baroque columns have been lovingly restored like much of the building.

Flinders Street Station

This iconic Melbourne spot has been called many things ensuring it’s much more than a train station in the hearts and minds of Melbournians. While the theatrical tends to come from the daily mass of human transit that passes through, the station is also a famed meeting place (specifically on the steps under the clocks). If you’ve arranged a rendezvous here, consider yourself local.
