South Australia Maritime Museum

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, and that's exactly where you'll find the South Australian Maritime Museum, and it's one of the finest examples of its kind. The main exhibition galleries were originally cargo stores built in the 1850s. These days they house everything from ship wrecks to records of arrival by ship for all those budding genealogists.

Adelaide Festival Centre: Dunstan Playhouse
Named in honour of former Premier Don Dunstan, it has served South Australian audiences for more than 30 years and has been home to the State Theatre Company of South Australia since 1974. Seats 620 audience members and is typically used for intimate theatre, cabaret and music performances.

Adelaide Festival Centre Amphitheatre

As part of the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Amphitheatre is their outdoor venue, with seating for 600 people overlooking Elder Park and the River Torrens. It is used a lot for free entertainment over summer, community events as well as being a highly sought after venue during the Fringe Festival.
