Earn $10,000 For Anti-Drug Film
Editorial
Backed by the Australian Government, the new national Face Facts Short Film Competition is looking to give someone $10,000 for creating a short about the risks of drug use.
No longer than 60 seconds, each film must appeal to the Australian youth culture and address dangers of using ecstasy. In particular, the film needs to focus on the hazardous ingredients of MDMA and the dirty locales in which it can be produced, as well as the health risks presented by doing ecstasy. Yes, kids, say no to drugs.
Entries can be submitted up until April 30. Six entrants will be chosen for the final round of this online competition and Joe and Jane Public will then vote for their favourite film on the Face Facts site. The five runner-ups wil receive $1,000 each and the grand prize winner will pocket the $10k. In addition, anyone who votes in the online competition has a chance to win $5000. Seems so good there should be a law against it, right?
