Australian audiences are in for one hell of a ride in February, when the all-new Top Gear Live world tour lands in Sydney. Recently launched in London, the production features more cars, more stunts and - crucially - more fire than ever before; as well as the world's first indoor 'Loop of Death', performed by the Stig in a specially modified dune buggy!
You'll also witness the world's largest interactive game live on stage, a troupe of world-record breaking precision drivers, and some truly amazing vehicles, the likes of which you've never seen outside of Mad Max.
As Rowland French, executive producer of Top Gear Live, says: “Our team of world class engineers and special effects designers have combined to create some incredible cars that are about as far from road legal as you could imagine! There's some truly ground-breaking machinery that will keep people on the edge of their seats.”
Plus, as a special Australian extra, Top Gear Live will feature a Top Gear Live Festival to visit before and after the show: a showcase and a celebration of motoring in all its guises, with iconic cars from past and present, exotic supercars, interactive features and much, much more.
It's going to be one hell of a show, featuring almost 100 cars, 600 sets of tyres and needing enough petrol to raze a small country. No wonder it takes one 747 cargo plane, three ships, and 135 trucks to haul the entire production around the world!
