No, don’t panic. Miss Quinn is not calling it quits. Rather, the russet-headed troubadour is doing her best to mourn the passing of Melbourne’s live music scene. Ergo, The Last Gig.

With the closure of so very many live music venues in a city that, for so very long, made all the best noise in the nation, this cabaret artist presents a beautiful tribute. That she is doing so under the direction of Casey Bennetto, librettist for Keating! The Opera and general impossible genius, makes the slow demise of Melbourne music just a little easier to bear.

With her fierce wit, filthy mouth and strange vulnerability, Quinn is the perfect performer to deliver this eulogy.
