The hibernation is over. After solo albums by frontman Gareth Liddiard and drummer Mike Noga, The Drones hit the road in support of next month’s DVD A Thousand Mistakes. It’s a unique release from an uncompromising Australian band: more than four hours of live footage spanning a sold-out East Brunswick Club set, an intimate warehouse session and stops in Germany and France. Helmed by Tote-documenting filmmaker Natalie van den Dungen, a new clip for the evergreen older track Work for Me offers a tantalising sneak peek . Even better? Magic Dirt icon Adalita is coming along for the tour.
