Whether you’ll be desperate to escape a boring family function, at home twiddling your thumbs, or otherwise at a loose end on Christmas Day, join 3000 punters at Bondi Beach from midday to 10pm for Sunburnt Christmas, the festival that really brings joy to the world. Two stages showcase DJs who specialise in party-starting: Timmy Trumpet, Bombs Away, Shipwreck, Johnny B, Brazilian import Filipe Cintra, Urby, Chappers, the Postman, Mush and Finlay and Ping Pong Tiddly. Other carnival antics include, a free BBQ lunch, afternoon drink specials, and a wet T-shirt and bikini competition… albeit for those who haven’t scoffed too much pudding.
