Simon and Garfunkel are one of the most acclaimed music duos in history. First emerging as part of the New York folk music scene of the early '60s, they've enjoyed a turbulent career stretching across five decades. While Sound of Silence was their big breakthrough song, the pair had a string of hits throughout the '60s. With over 40 million records sold, five Grammys and a place in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, they're one of the most influential acts of the last century.
