Featuring what are almost certainly the strongest opening and closing gags of the festival, this deliberately awkward performance by Sydney performer Zoe Coombs Marr will delight and horrify in equal measure.

Marr excels in celebrating the awkwardness of adolescence, from blood noses at inappropriate moments, to those rare moments of sublime joy that may not be quite as we remember them.

Seriously self-deprecating, Marr is a better actor than she is a stand-up comedian, and her show could do with trimming in its middle section. Such minor faults aside, her inspired recollections of painful first crushes and recitations of bad teenage poetry will have you rolling in the aisles.
