Magic acts performed so badly they're hilarious.

In these days of cerebral, post-modern comedians, it's a pleasure to encounter someone as daggy and fun as this very silly Swede.

Making the most of his gangly frame and goofy laugh, Carl-Einar Häckner - resplendent in an ABBA-style white jumpsuit - has perfected the art of bad magic as only a good illusionist can.

Whether turning audience members into living ventriloquists' dolls, doing awful things to his animal sidekicks, or milking Swedish stereotypes for all they're worth (Ikea jokes, anyone?) Hackner excels in generating gasps and laughs in equal measure. Very silly, very funny, and definitely recommended.
