Model Behaviour

When: This is a permanent exhibition
Where: National Motor Musuem
There's something about toy and model motor cars that's exciting, innocent and nostalgic. Of course it's connected to childhood, but seeing those scale models of old - and new - cars always elicits a sense of wonder. And now that can be revisited at the National Motor Museum's exhibition, Model Behaviour.
The exhibition explores the history of toy and model cars, dating back to the time the first cars were hitting the road. It's also a showcase of three people's much-loved and treasured collections of toy and model cars, including some home-made ones. This is when the hobby horse lost its puff and was taken over by the racing pedal car as the travelling toy of choice.
There is also some brand new toys and models to strike awe and amazement into the hearts of children and adults alike.
The National Motor Museum has been enthralling car lovers since 1965 and is much more than a collection of vehicles. It's an important look at society over the years. So relive those childhood moments, or experience new ones - this is one exhibition you won't want to miss.
For more information about the exhibition visit the National Motor Museum site.
