Detroit born LA based swoony crooner and multi instrumentalist dude with a cool name, Mayer Hawthorne (the suave singing alter ego of hip hopper/producer Andrew Cohen) brings his new school/old school timeless soul back to Australia.

His first record ‘A Strange Arrangement’ came dripping in authenticity and brought him to the attention of the likes of Mark Ronson, Gilles Peterson and ultimately Universal Music, who’ve just released his second album ‘How Do You Do?’ Good thank you Mayer!

Hawthorne brings not only his game (he’s just appeared on Letterman) but also a full live band with him to Australia as he plays support to Erykah Badu & Fat Freddy’s Drop in Perth, as well as a couple of smaller solo shows.  

This is a great opportunity to see an artist just as he starts to break worldwide.
