With the exception of The Chaser's rise to national prominence, politically literate satire is in short supply. You'd be forgiven for thinking, in fact, that no one under 35 reads an Australian newspaper.
The fact is, no one under 35 does read an Australian newspaper. They get all their news aggregated online. In an effort to help his age mates out of the morass of information overload. Mathew Keneally emerges to tell it Like It Is. Or, at least, how it should be if our politicians were a little more civic minded.
This guy has all the skill of a Max Gillies but none of the sweet Marxist longing of Max's old school. Keneally is a smart young pragmatist with small l liberal politics and a liberal dose of charm.
