Celebrate the remarkable quarter century on screen of Australia's most loved film critics, Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton.

Editorial

When: 17 August - 4 December, 2011
Where: Australian Centre for the Moving Image
Tickets: Free entry

Where would film criticism be without the familiar throaty laugh of Margaret Pomeranz and the dry wit of the urbane David Stratton? Considerably the poorer, without doubt.

The hosts of ABC television's At the Movies since July 2004, Margaret and David's on-screen partnership commenced in 1986 when they founded The Movie Show on SBS. Their passion for film and occasional disagreements have fuelled a unique television partnership, and generated a loyal following Australia-wide.

Now the Australian Centre for the Moving Image presents a must-see exhibition celebrating their quarter of a century on our screens, featuring everything from clips of iconic reviews through to a selection of Margaret and David's personal treasures, including David's ASIO file and a selection of Margaret's earrings (which are so popular they have their own Facebook fan page). You can even review one of four iconic films with them via the magic of green screen, with either Margaret or David playing host!
