Lil Wayne may be coming to Australia to anchor an insane triple-bill with Eminem and Hilltop Hoods in Sydney and Melbourne – the same arena shows that sold out in 30 minutes – but he’s making room for headlining stops in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. (Sydney will have to settle for the second Eminem date just announced.) Although a rap lifer, Lil Wayne has only been at the top of the commercial heap since his 2008 opus Tha Carter III conquered the mainstream. Since then he’s done prison time, stolen the Eminem hit No Love and hinted at retirement around the corner.
