Kisschasy: Seizures Tour

Editorial
Kisschasy are the quiet achievers of Australian indie pop. While other bands yell and scream about their achievements, the Melbourne four-piece have simply gotten on with the business of selling records, topping charts and touring. 2005's United Paper People introduced the band to the public and saw their first single, Do-Do's & Whoa-Oh's, top radio playlists around the country. By the time the band finished touring the album it was certified gold. The 2007 follow-up, Hymns for the Nonbeliever, followed a similar trajectory. Released with relatively little hype, it quietly worked its way onto radio playlists and made its way up the charts. It also went gold, spearheaded by singles likes Spray on pants and Opinions Won't Keep You Warm at Night.
Seizures, the group's third album doesn't stray far from their winning formula. Comprised of radio-friendly indie pop, it was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by, Rob Schnapf - the same man who'd previously worked with Beck, Powderfinger and The Vines. The group are currently on the road in support of the first single, Generation Why - expect the album to creep up the charts in the coming weeks and months.
