The lineage of big British indie rock bands goes something like this: The Stones Roses, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Oasis, then Kasabian, hence them winning Best British group at Brit Awards, three times in the last seven years. Since they rocked out of Leicester, they’ve assumed that mantle combining rock with grooves, loops and samples.

Now on their fourth album Velociraptor!, Kasabian bring back their massive rowdy singalong - a hit live show for the Big Day Out. They’re also giving their fans the opportunity to see them in a few sideshows, where they’ll be supported by fellow countrymen and the new boys on the band block looking to their mantle, The Vaccines.
