Jim Davidson

events|jim%20davidson
One of the UK’s funniest stand-up comedians, Jim Davidson, is touring Australia for the first time! But be warned, it’s not for innocent ears...

Editorial

When: 8pm, Sat 11 Jul 2009
Where: Burswood Theatre
Tickets: $69
Bookings: Ticketek 132-849

Warning: Jim Davidson's show contains adult themes, strong language - and a whole lot of inappropriate humour. And he's bringing it to Australia for the first time!

That's right, Jim Davidson who is regarded as one of the funniest men on British television, is heading downunder with his outrageous adult humour and politically incorrect gags. The star of his own show, surprisingly called The Jim Davidson Show and the sitcoms Up The Elephant And Around The Castle and Home James, Davidson has also appeared in the feature films A Zed and Two Noughts and Colour Me Kubrick, performed in adult-themed pantomimes such as Sinderella, and more recently he's hosted the Generation Game.

But it's for his adult humour and tendency to make jokes at the expense of ethnic minorities, gay people, disabled people and women that he's best known, and for that, some think he's brilliant, others think he's a foul-mouthed insensitive throwback. Why not go along and decide for yourself? Just remember, you have been warned...

The show in Perth was pure class. laughed from the moment he started until the very end. About time we had some excellent humour. Def, see him again and he deserved the standing ovation at the end!
