Hot on the heels of the release of their eighth studio album, Green Day have announced they're bringing their 21st Century Breakdown Tour to Australia, with the New Jersey three-piece out this way in December. Coming five years after their ground-breaking American Idiot LP, 21st Century Breakdown is a concept album, of sorts, and follows a young couple through the new century. Produced by the legendary Butch Vg, it's divided into three acts: Heroes and Cons, Charlatans and Saints, and Horseshoes and Handgrenades. On that note, pre-sales start 25 June via Frontier Touring, with public ticket sales from Wednesday 1 July.
