First Aid Kit would be interesting enough just for their breathtaking harmonies and fragile folk charms. But consider the fact that they’re two Swedish sisters barely out of their collective teens, and it’s almost tempting to regard them as a novelty. Then there’s the music, though, soaking up the history of folk music with such alluring purity. So far there’s only been one album – last year’s The Big Black & The Blue – but the pair of Söderberg siblings have since cut a vinyl single with Jack White. Next up is a second LP helmed by Bright Eyes producer Mike Mogis.
