In what seems like a pairing and a tour sanctioned by the Gods of music, Carole King and James Taylor are heading to Australia for a string of dates together.

Editorial

Singer songwriter icons Carole King and James Taylor are teaming up to re-create a nugget of history with their 2010 Troubadour Reunion world tour - and they are kicking it off in Melbourne. If, like us, your jaw is somewhere near the floor in disbelief, we assure you, this is all true!

The multi-platinum-selling, Grammy Award winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame duo will play a two-hour show set to include songs performed during their debut show at a little LA club called the Troubadour way back in 1970.

“When James and I first played together way in the early '70s, we connected immediately, both musically and personally, with an effortless, comfortable familiarity,” said King.

“This tour, our Troubadour Reunion, has been waiting to happen for a long time and the years seem to have vanished. Where does the time go?” said Taylor.

Over their careers King and Taylor have had phenomenal success as singers and songwriters, King most notably with one of the greatest albums of all time, Tapestry, and Taylor with oodles of hits, including the instantly hummable, You've Got a Friend.
