Richmond's Bridge Road (just a short tram trip from Melbourne's CBD) is a dead-set winner when it comes to shopping on a budget. Lined with shops from the corner of Punt Road right the way to Burnley Street, it's around 1.7 kilometres of pure shopping pleasure! Known for it's many 'outlets', this shopping strip is for the serious shopper only. Set aside a good two hours, and factor in brunch or lunch at one of the many cafes dotted along the way. Notable stores include Sportsgirl, Witchery, Esprit, Nine West, plus there's a medley of smaller, lesser known clothing labels where bargains also lurk!
Getting there: catch a number 48 or 75 tram from Flinders Street.
