Three big shows in the month of January is a fantastic kick off to the year for B Sharp. With so much variety from some hilarious performers it's certain that there is a laugh in there for everyone.

The Fabulous Frances Faye in Australia, written and performed by Nick Christo will charm audiences; the story of one of America's most loved jazz singers as she rose from dodgy gangster haunts to stardom in the 1960's. Christo has had great success in New York and at home with his solo show, a blend of silky singing and humour.

Claudia O'Doherty's Monster of the Deep 3D is making its Sydney debut at the Downstairs Theatre, after taking home the Best Comedy Award at the Melbourne Fringe Festival. How O'Doherty makes living in a deteriorating underwater world seem funny, has to be seen to be believed.

Lastly is Double Exposure, a Paul 'Flacco' Livingstone and Marty Murphy stand up duet in their shows Beyond the Pale and Happy and Clean respectively.

Annette Madden, Downstairs Theatre Director said, "They are the perfect performances to get you in the mood for the silly season, and will get our 2010 season off to a great start." And with Flacco and Frances Faye sharing a stage, there is no argument about that!
