AC/DC: Black Ice Tour
Editorial
AC/DC helped reinvent rock'n'roll in the 1970s. Period. The Sydney band shot out the gate with High Voltage and TNT in 1975. Led by single like It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock'n'Roll), the group quickly conquered Australia. Within the next couple of years they had translated their homegrown success internationally, selling millions of albums in the process.
30 years on, AC/DC are still considered one of rock's biggest bands with sales of over 200 million internationally. Along the way they've received numerous accolades, lost a few members and lived one of the most rock'n'roll lifestyles you'll ever come across. They were inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and by 2005 the Recording Industry Association of America had upgraded the group's US sales figures from 63 million to 69 million - making AC/DC the fifth-best-selling band in US history.
Last year's Black Ice album added a couple of million sales to that total. The band's first release in eight years, it attracted critical acclaim and showed that the aging group could still rock out like nobody's business. No real surprise then that they're back on the road for their first proper tour in a decade.

Saw them earlier this year in the USA. BRING YOUR EAR PLUGS! Loudest concert I've been to in years.
