AC/DC are set to return home for their first Australian concert dates in almost a decade.

Editorial

AC/DC have confirmed the world's worst-kept secret - they're coming back to Australia. Currently in the midst of a huge international tour, the rock legends are making their way to Australia in 2010 for a series of concerts. This will be their first local tour in almost a decade and sees them play across five capital cities (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth) in February and March 2010 as part of their Black Ice tour.

Since helping reinvent rock music in the mid '70s, with albums High Voltage and Highway to Hell, the Sydney band has sold around 200 million albums internationally. Along the way they've received numerous accolades, lost a few members and lived one of the most rock'n'roll lifestyles you'll ever come across. They were inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and by 2005 the Recording Industry Association of America had upgraded the group's US sales figures from 63 million to 69 million - making AC/DC the fifth-best-selling band in US history.

The group last toured out this way in 2001. They released Black Ice last year and have since seen it go platinum throughout the world.
