A Day in Pompeii for Kids
Editorial
When: 19 Sep-4 Oct 2009
Where: Melbourne Museum
As part of the Melbourne Museum's current exhibition, A Day in Pompeii, some special school holiday activities are being run, and you can unearth your own major discoveries.
In Pompeii Play, you can explore the city in the family activity room. There are treasures to discover in the archaeological dig, Roman weights and measures to play with, as well as mosaics and ferescos, and you can make your own gladiator helmet to go with your toga! Et tu, Brutus! There is also a 20 minute presentation, introducing you to Pompeii and its people through the eyes of a slave. See how the other half lived 2,000 years ago!

I was not aware of Ancient Pompeii, until i Google about it and landed here http://www.traveleurope360.com/ancient-pompeii.html. After reading few articles, i came to know that its wonderful place, but nowadays people are not happy with Ancient Pompeii because many key spot are closed and it is not that much attractive as it was before. Italy government are completely ignoring this city, don't know for what reason
