Grandmas seem to be the in thing at the moment, between Grandma Funks, a retro 60s kitsch palace of yummy grub at cheap, cheap prices, and the clubbing shenanigans of Sorry Grandma. The former is an awesomely kooky little diner in Richmond, with a mission statement that involves delivering delicious home-style Italian cooking just like nonna would. Should be renamed Nonna Funks, really. It has a very cute Happy Days vibe, with diners expecting the Fonz to arrive at any moment to rapturous applause. You can even bring you own Italian vino for $5 corkage.
