Don't mention the F word here. Repress your inner soccer hooligan because this venue doesn't tolerate fans. Suggesting a history of violence, the dress code at Newport clearly states "no club colours". And maybe leave the Harley at home.

The Monk Brewery & Kitchen
33 South Tce, Fremantle
The Monk is no longer 'Mad', having dropped the latter from its title, but it's still a must-see destination for any beer-mad connoisseur who finds themselves in Freo. In particular their strong, smoky-flavoured Rauch is a real treat, as is the smooth, chocolatey Porter. They know their stuff, these boys, and all the beers are brewed on site. And it's not just the amber ale that's hot. There are scrummy meal deals almost every day, like $15 pizzas on Thursday and paella on the terrace for $22 on a Sunday. It's not super-cheap, but the food's top notch.
